Description

What is Agotrig 0.1mg?

Agotrig 0.1 mg per ml is an injection used for controlling and reducing the increased estrogen-causing Uterine fibroids and endometriosis. The active ingredient is Triptorelin Acetate Injection 0.1 mg.

Uses of Triptorelin Acetate Injection

  • Treats advanced prostate cancer by reducing testosterone, helping slow cancer growth and relieve symptoms.
  • Manages central precocious puberty in children (ages ≥2), delaying early puberty development.
  • Used for endometriosis, uterine fibroids, and hormone-sensitive breast cancer.

How It Works

  • Triptorelin is a GnRH (gonadotropin-releasing hormone) agonist, meaning it mimics GnRH but acts continuously.
  • Initially stimulates the pituitary to release LH and FSH, causing a temporary surge in sex hormones (testosterone and estrogen), the flare effect.
  • With continuous use (usually within 2–4 weeks), it desensitizes GnRH receptors, reducing LH and FSH release and significantly lowering sex hormone production in the gonads.
  • This induces a medical castration state in men or a hypogonadal/menopausal state in women, suppressing hormone-driven conditions.

It helps in IVF and other controlled ovarian stimulation treatments. Triptorelin is the active ingredient in the injection. Which is an alternative to the medication Decapeptyl 0.1mg Injection. Buy Agotrig at IVFInjection.in.
