Enoxaparin belongs to a group of medications that are used to prevent and treat blood clots. It belongs to a group of medications called anticoagulants. • Clean the spot: Rub alcohol on your belly skin first.
• Pinch up: Grab a quick, small fold of skin.
• Poke straight: Put the needle right in at a ninety-degree angle.
• Go slow: Push down on the plunger without rushing.

Never rub the skin when you finish because it makes a nasty bruise. My neighbour did that once and got a giant purple spot. Just press a dry tissue there if it leaks a drop. Move your spot every day so the skin heals.
