What is Cetrolix pfs injection?
Cetrolix pfs is an injection widely used in IVF. It contains the active ingredient Cetrorelix. Cetrorelix 0.25 mg belongs to a category of medications known as gonadotropin-releasing hormone antagonists. This medication is used the treat infertility in females. Which works by restricting the egg from being released. Thereby prevent premature ovulation. This allows the doctor time to monitor your follicles and retrieve the eggs at the right time for fertilization in the lab.
How does it work?
Cetrolix pfs (Cetrorelix) injections prevent the eggs from being released prematurely during IVF. It blocks a hormone called LH (luteinizing hormone). Blocking LH prevents your eggs from being released too early (premature ovulation) during the IVF process. Allowing the other fertility medications time to work and the doctor time to collect the eggs when they are ready.
How to use it?

Side effects
There are some common side effects of this injection site reaction (redness, itching, and irritation), nausea, and vomiting.
