What is Folisurge 900 IU?
Folisurge 900 IU is a pen injection used during IVF Treatment. It contains the follicle-stimulating hormone in the recombinant form prescribed for the treatment of those whose female ovaries do not produce the egg naturally. It helps in treating infertility in both male and female patients.
The injection contains a recombinant follicle-stimulating hormone that helps stimulate and nourish follicles. In females, the injection is used to increase estrogen production. Stimulating the development & maturity of healthy follicles in the ovaries, in males, improves testosterone levels in men for good, which is essential for the production of sperm.
Use of Folisurge 900 IU in pregnancy and IVF?
This IVF injection pen is given to women patients to help stimulate ovaries to produce multiple follicles that are mature enough that they can get fertilized. Women patients who are unable to conceive are advised to use Folisurge 900 during IVF therapy.
