BIOVAC A INJECTION 0.5ML is an immunizing agent or vaccine made from life, weakened, or attenuated Hepatitis A virus. It helps to develop immunity by forming antibodies, which are proteins that protect against infection caused by viruses present in the vaccine. Biovac A is used for serious liver diseases caused by the hepatitis A virus. It is safe and effective and given as 2 shots, 6 months apart. Both shots are needed for long-term protection.

Hepatitis A virus, Inactivated. Other ingredients: Aluminium hydroxy phosphate sulfate, sodium borate, sodium chloride, and water. This vaccine contains a trace amount of neomycin. The vial stopper, syringe plunger stopper, and tip cap contain natural latex rubber. BIOVAC A works by stimulating the body to produce antibodies that fight against the virus and prevent hepatitis A infection.

Biovac A Vaccine is given under the observation of a doctor or nurse. This vaccination is done in children between the ages of 12 months through 18 years. Adults who have not been vaccinated previously and want to be protected against hepatitis A can also get the vaccine. There are some side effects of this vaccine, including nausea, pain, abdominal pain, anaphylaxis, convulsions, fatigue, headache, loss of appetite, tenderness, and vomiting.

Before receiving the injection, inform your doctor if you have ever had an allergy-related issue from any other medicines or vaccines, if you have kidney and liver-related issues if you are a pregnant or breast-feeding mother.
