What is Ferinject 500mg injection?
Ferinject 500mg injection is an iron injection. The active ingredient in this injection is ferric carboxymaltose. Ferric carboxymaltose is an iron replacement. It is used to treat iron deficiency anemia (a condition in which the body is unable to get mineral iron, which is essential to produce hemoglobin) in adults.
Iron is needed to produce the red blood cells that carry oxygen. This injectable is advised when your body is unable to successfully treat iron deficiency even after taking iron supplement tablets.

How to use?
The injection or infusion (saline drip) into a vein by your doctor or nurse. Usually, the IV injection lasts for as long as 1 hour. It may cause a temporary increase in blood pressure followed by redness, dizziness, and nausea and may disappear within 30 minutes. If you experience any adverse effect inform your doctor immediately.
