What is Foliculin HP 75 IU?

Foliculin HP 75 IU contains Urofollitropin, which works similarly to follicle-stimulating hormone (natural sex hormone). Foliculin HP 75 IU increases oestrogen production that stimulates the development of the egg and mature follicle in women having ovulation (release of an egg from the ovary) problems and those undergoing IVF treatments.

How does it work?

Urofollitropin, the active ingredient in Foliculin HP 75, belongs to the class of drugs called hormones used in the treatment of female infertility. Female infertility may be caused due to different factors affecting ovulation (release of an egg from the ovary), fertilisation (fusion of sperm and egg) and implantation (fertilised egg attaches to the uterus lining). Women are unable to produce eggs for ovulation.

Side effects

Foliculin HP 75 IU is taken under the observation of a doctor based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience headache, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, pelvic pain, hot flushes (sudden feeling of warmth) or inflammation of the throat and nasal passage.
