What is Luprodex 22.5 mg depot Injection?

Luprodex 22.5 mg depot injection contains leuprolide acetate as an active ingredient, which is related to the class of ‘anticancer or anti-neoplastic agents’, which is used in the treatment of prostate cancer in men. Prostate cancer is cancer of the prostate gland (a small gland under the bladder that produces semen) found only in men. The symptoms include difficulty in urination, pain, numbness, or sexual problems. Also used to treat hormone-responsive breast Cancer, uterine fibroids (non-cancerous growths of the uterus Endometriosis. Endometriosis is a painful illness in which the tissue that normally lines the inside of the uterus grows outside of your uterus.

Also used in the treatment of central precocious puberty, in which a child’s body begins to change into an adult too soon, caused by a release of certain hormones.
