What is Pegstim 6mg injection?

Pegstim 6mg injection contains Pegfilgrastim 6mg, which is related to the category of medicines called growth-stimulating factors. It helps to prevent infection after chemotherapy. Pegstim 6mg injection increases the production of white blood cells by stimulating the immune system in our body. White blood cells are those cells that help us to fight infections.

Pegstim 6mg injection is given under the observation of doctors, and doctors decide the dose according to treatment response. The doctor advises you to get regular tests done to check the number of blood cells in your blood and your bone density level while you are taking this medicine.

How does it work?

Side effects

There are some common side effects of this medicine include bone pain, unusual weakness, joint pain, headache, rash, stomach and muscle pain skin reshes or redness at the site of injection, swelling of the face, throat, ankles, feet, or hand, trouble in breathing is common.
