Viropil Tablet is a combination antiretroviral medicine. It helps people living with HIV manage the infection. The tablet works by blocking HIV at multiple stages, stopping the virus from multiplying and keeping the immune system strong. The active ingredients are Dolutegravir, Lamivudine and Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate.
This medicine does not cure HIV. It helps control the infection, reduce viral load, and lower the risk of life threatening infections.
How Viropil Tablet works
- Viropil contains three drugs that attack HIV in different ways:
- Dolutegravir blocks the integrase enzyme. This prevents the virus from inserting its genetic material into your immune cells.
- Lamivudine and Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate block reverse transcriptase, another key enzyme HIV needs to copy itself.
- Together, the three drugs reduce viral replication efficiently. When taken consistently, they can lower the viral load to undetectable levels. This also reduces the chance of HIV transmission to others.
How to take Viropil Tablet
